RESeT
Have you ever wished you could just press "Pause" on life, and give yourself some time to rest, catch up, or simply get a fresh start?
That's a reset, and we all need one once in a while. During a reset you block out distractions, set up boundaries to protect yourself from being needed temporarily, and you include rest. You take time to rest from decision-making, errand-running, phone calls, texting, emails, job requests, family drama, stressful situations, and all the things in life that keep you running too fast, and for too long.
RESeT™
A quiet day away from the noise of life
What Is RESeT?
RESeT is a protected day of quiet, rest, and intentional pause—created for people who need time away from the constant demands of life, without expectations, pressure, or performance.
During a RESeT day, you step out of the noise and into a calm, retreat-like environment where nothing is required of you. There is no agenda to keep up with, no one asking for anything, and no need to decide what comes next. You are given space, boundaries, and permission to simply be.
RESeT is not about fixing your life or figuring everything out. It’s about stopping long enough to breathe, rest your mind, and allow your nervous system to settle—so clarity, calm, and energy can return naturally.
RESeT is not about escaping life—it’s about stepping away long enough to return to it with more capacity, calm, and clarity. Sometimes the most responsible thing you can do is to do nothing.
What to Expect
RESeT can be booked as a half day or full day experience and takes place at the Center of Training office in Edmond, Oklahoma. Each day is intentionally limited to a small number of participants to maintain a quiet, uncrowded, and peaceful environment.
The day includes:
- A phone-free quiet space designed to minimize distractions
- A self-guided RESeT workbook you may use as much or as little as you wish
- Very light, relaxing background music
- Lunch provided, so you don’t have to leave, decide, or manage logistics
- Access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, including a private, tree-lined area
- The freedom to read, write, rest, nap, think, or not think at all
- A mental health professional on-site for quiet check-ins if desired
- No visitors, interruptions, or outside demands for the duration of your RESeT™
The day opens and closes with a brief, gentle facilitation. The rest of the time is intentionally unstructured. Participants are asked to remain quiet to protect the experience for everyone.
Who RESeT Is For
RESeT is designed for anyone who needs a pause. People who often choose RESeT include:
- Overworked professionals and executives
- Single parents and caregivers
- First responders, medical professionals, and mental health providers
- Teachers, coaches, and leaders
- Individuals experiencing burnout or overwhelm
- Anyone who simply needs a quiet escape day
Some people come alone. Others come as pairs or small groups. Many return later with colleagues, teams, or loved ones once they experience the value of having protected time to rest. You don’t have to be in crisis to need a RESeT™. You just have to be human.
What RESeT Is Not
To protect the integrity of the experience, it’s important to know what RESeT is not:
- Not therapy
- Not group processing
- Not skills training
- Not productivity planning
- Not problem-solving or goal-setting
- Not a workshop or retreat with expectations
There is no pressure to talk, share, participate, or accomplish anything. RESeT exists specifically to remove expectations, not add new ones.
Why RESeT Matters
Most of us live in a constant state of being needed—by work, family, devices, and responsibilities. Even rest often comes with noise, guilt, or interruption.
RESeT creates something rare:
- A place where nothing is required
- A day where boundaries are built in
- Permission to rest without explanation or apology
Taking a day to RESeT should be as normal—and as guilt-free—as taking a shower.
Benefits of a RESeT Day
While outcomes vary for each person, many participants report leaving with:
- A quieter mind
- Reduced overwhelm
- Physical and mental rest
- Emotional breathing room
- A sense of relief and grounding
- Improved clarity (without forcing answers)
- Renewed energy
- A reminder of what it feels like to be uninterrupted
- Permission to slow down without guilt
Often, the biggest benefit is simply remembering what it feels like to exist without constant input, output, or demand.

RESeT™ Participation Guidelines
These guidelines exist to protect the quiet, safety, and restorative nature of the RESeT experience—for you and for everyone sharing the space.
1. Phone-Free Space
We encourage your RESeT to be a phone-free experience. The exception to this would be to use your phone, attached to earbuds or headphones, for quiet music listening. Volume must remain low, and ringers and phone vibration must be turned off, to protect the quiet and to support full separation from daily demands. Trust us when we say… this is a significant benefit of this experience.
An emergency contact number for the office will be provided in advance and may be shared with family, co-parents, schools, or caregivers if needed, and participants may step out of the experience at any time if a personal need arises.
2. No Visitors or Guests
To maintain a protected and interruption-free environment, visitors and unregistered guests are not permitted during a RESeT day.
3. Quiet Space Expectations
RESeT is a shared quiet space.
- Conversation is not permitted inside the space.
- If you are ill, coughing, or feeling unwell, please reschedule your RESeT day.
- Headphones or earbuds are strongly encouraged for personal sound or additional noise blocking. Personal music, videos, or media must not be audible to others.
These guidelines help ensure the space remains calm, restful, and respectful for everyone.
4. Personal Items & Comfort
Participants are welcome to bring:
- A blanket for personal use
- Books, notebooks, or journals
- A water bottle or coffee
- Small, quiet, non-odorous snacks
Please keep personal items contained within your personal space and out of shared walkways. We do have a refrigerator on-site as well as a secure place to store your belongings for the day, if you choose.
5. Optional Creative Materials
Art and reflection materials (such as paper, crayons, markers, paint, clay, and other supplies) will be available for optional use throughout the day, along with the self-guided RESeT workbook. Use what serves you; participation in any activity is entirely optional.
6. Restroom Access
Please note that there is one shared restroom on-site. Participants are asked to be mindful and respectful of shared use.
9. Refund Policy
- Dress for Comfort
Dress comfortably and in layers, as room temperatures may vary throughout the day.
8. Mutual Respect
RESeT is grounded in mutual respect—for yourself, for others in the space, and for the experience itself.
Participants are asked to honor:
- The quiet
- The boundaries of others
- Your own need for rest and care
9. Refund Policy
RESeT registrations are non-refundable. Cancellations made 7+ days in advance may be rescheduled once to a future available date, or you may transfer your registration to someone else (great excuse to give a gift!), but most notify Center of Training prior to the RESeT date.
RESeT is a small-group, protected experience. Once a space is reserved, it is held exclusively for you. This policy allows us to maintain the integrity, calm, and quality of the experience for everyone.
In the unlikely event that Center of Training must cancel a scheduled RESeT day, participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling to a future date.
