Sep 19, 2021Talk to someone. You don't have to say, "I need help," if that's uncomfortable. Just say, "Can I talk through some things with you?.. I have a lot on my mind and I think it might help to have another person to toss some ideas out with me." Find someone you trust, someone who has your back, someone who will really listen. And then share.. the hard stuff, the troubling stress, the sadness, whatever's keeping you awake at night or occupying your mind when you're alone. Just start by talking it out with someone else, and don't force yourself to go through everything alone. "I got this" sometimes means, "I got this because I have good support behind me."
