Look up.
...from your phone.
...to God.
...to someone sitting right across from you.
...to see the sunrise / sunset.
...to see someone in need that you can help.
...to feel the sun on your face.
...to smile at someone.
...to feel hope.
...to see everything around you.


How much time every day do you spend looking at a phone, or a computer, or paper on your desk? Try to spend today not looking down, but instead looking up, and around, and at different things. Go see something beautiful. Connect with people through eye contact, through a quick smile, or with an encouraging glance. Look up and really be a part of what's around you. You may find yourself more engaged, more aware, and better connected.
