Mental Health Moment | Anxiety & Stress
Feb 26, 2023Anxiety is a mental, emotional & physical state of "readiness." When we find ourselves in an ongoing and continual readiness mindset, it means we'll have continuous anxiety. Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed by the problem and feeling like it may be bigger than what you have available to manage it with. Take time to take real stock in what you have going your way, and what you are ready for. This may be a good time to start a gratitude journal, so that you're focusing on the positives more than the negative. Prepare for what could happen, and then breathe, knowing you're going to be okay.
