Mental Immunity is a groundbreaking new approach to "resilience." By looking at 12 areas of health, and by paying close attention to intentional choices on our life's path, all in aĀ  deeply intentional and proactive way, we can strengthen our mental health immune system to maintain wellness.Ā

What is it and how does it work?

This program starts by addressing 12 primary areas of health:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Spiritual
  • Financial
  • Environmental
  • Occupational
  • Social
  • Relational
  • Connective
  • Intentional
  • Intellectual

Then, using the Trauma and Significant Events Timeline (TSET)Ā© the training moves into a look at the life path - Where are you, where has your path led you, and how have all the steps on that path affected and changed you?

Using the information from the exercises described above, we'll then dive into the Proactive Suicide Prevention Sequence (PSPS)Ā©, which addresses how a person may find themselves feeling hopeless and lost - but we focus on the word "Proactive," discussing choices, decision points, and how makingĀ certain choices can lead to conflict and how intentional decisions can lead to a life with less stress and more positive outcomes.

The entire cumulative goal of this training course is to think proactively, act intentionally, live purposefully, and begin taking small steps toward the positive, rather than just letting life happen, possibly leading down the negative path.

You will leave this training day with a personal plan, knowing what obstacles have affected and changed your life up to this point, and having a plan in place to make future decisions and choices for intentional growth and long-term positive mental health.Ā
