Session Summary:

When someone says, “I’m not as _____ as I once was,” they are communicating that something has changed in their life – possibly in their behavior, their habits, or their interests. This session will teach the use of the Trauma and Significant Events Timeline in a counseling environment, to help an individual acknowledge significant events in their life and visually see the impact those had. Included with this session is a downloadable PDF workbook to be used as for demonstration.

Goals & Objectives:

1          Participants will be able to demonstrate the proper use of the Trauma and Significant Events Timeline and its “see the change” detail activity;

2          Participants will gain an understanding of the impact life events have on an individual’s “above” or “below” the line overall wellness rating;

3          Participants will be able to identify ways to implement growth and positivity goals using  the Trauma and Significant Events timeline as part of the counseling process.

Participants will receive a certificate of training after the session, and this training session is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

For licensed clinicians, Center of Training is an Approved Continuing Education (CE) Provider through NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors) (ACEP #7092). Your certificate will designate 1 hour of CE. 
NOTE: Because Center of Training is approved to provide at-home, on-demand study courses only, LIVE webinars are not eligible for designated "live" CE (Continuing Education) hours.
There are many licensure types and those vary across the 50 states. Before enrolling, please confirm with your specific licensure board that NBCC CE hours are accepted as CE for your license.
